We believe that the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) has been charging undue amounts to users (businesses) of the public electric power service. This is based on the following:
- It does not perform actual consumption readings (nor does it provide any proof).
- Bills/invoices include charges under concepts such as "Billable Demand," "Maximum Demand," and "Demand Charge," among others, which are not authorized under any of the official tariffs applicable to the public service provided by the CFE.
