COMMERCIAL NOTARY PUBLIC

Appraisals

valuacion

A Commercial Notary Public can estimate, quantify and assess goods, services, rights and obligations of any class or nature; even those that require specialized acknowledgement because of its particularities.

The Commercial Notary Public’s appraisals grant a security that is not given by the ones issued by individuals. The former appraisals have full probative value in all areas of practice, either Tax Law, civil, commercial, administrative, amparos, etc. Even the Credits Institution Law (the one that oversees banking institutions) manifests that the Commercial Notary Public’s appraisals have the same force and effect as the ones made by such institutions.

Some of the more frequently used appraisals are:

  • For lawsuits, trials and procedures.

  • To prove the value of an asset that will be given as a collateral to the treasury.

  • Reevaluation of assets to capitalize.

  • Valuation of assets for its sale.

  • Valuation of assets for Tax purposes.

  • Valuation of intangibles such as brands and royalties.

  • Appraisal of personal and real property, jewelry and artwork, price transfer, among others.
